Created in 2013, the Red Jackets is a business support movement and a platform for the best exporting brands from Latvia. The main objective is to tell a unique story about Latvia through its brand and people focusing on the differences, main values and qualities.
 

More than 1000 companies were considered for this award. To be selected for the top100, they had to pass several selection rounds and were evaluated on their trade mark, website, brand recognition, visibility in social media and brand design among other. The jury panel included Latvian business leaders, representatives from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Hipotēku Banka, the British Council, and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce.
