The objective of the NTIF 2014 is for the translation and localization industry representatives from the Nordic and Baltic countries to find a platform for exchanging ideas and knowledge. This year, companies from 30 countries will be represented and for the first time there will be tools demonstration sessions in parallel to the main conference. You will see demos from Kaleidoscope, SDL, Memsource, Easyling, WordFinder and Plunet.

The key-note speaker will be Hans Rosenfeldt. Hans is the writer of the award-winning Danish/Swedish TV series “The Bridge” who has been sold to over 130 countries in the world. Other speakers will include Lane Greene (The Economist), Britta Aagard and Robert Etches (TextMinded), Dion Wiggins (Asia Online), Mads Ingeman Blücher (Amesto), Sara Gangelhof (Vestas) and Danilo Monaco (Arancho Doc Group) among others, discussing topics such as Communication, Global Centralization, Talent Management, Technology and Terminology.

Speakers' list also includes Nordtext's co-founder Kristaps Kvelde. Kristaps is a returning speaker, having presented at the very first NTIF event in 2011, where his presentation on EU tenders was very well received. This year Kristaps will share insights from the re-branding process at Nordtext, giving practical advice on mistakes to avoid and discussing the ingredients required for a successful re-brand.
